CHOPPERLINE FLIGHT TRAINING offers comprehensive theory and flight training for both aeroplanes and helicopters. It is the largest and most successful combined flying school in Australia. We are an approved international training organisation teaching both overseas and Australian students. Nimvale Pty Ltd (trading as Chopperline Flight Training) is an aviation training organization, offering services that include both helicopter and fixed wing training. It commenced flight training operations at Bankstown in 1977.

In 1980, the Company transferred its operations to Caloundra on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The choice of Caloundra as a base was influenced by two major factors, lifestyle for staff and students and the geographic location at the centre of the eastern seaboard.

Caloundra airport is located outside of controlled airspace and as a result, training activities start immediately after take off saving expensive ferry time. The airport is only two nautical miles from an approved low flying area and one nautical mile from a confined area landing location. This is also a major cost saving. These financial savings are reflected in lower training costs that benefit the students.

As well as the Company’s long term reputation, customers are attracted to the school by the quality of the instructors and the services offered. The helicopter and fixed wing instructors are career professionals who are committed to the highest quality product.
