COMPLETE THEORY AND FLIGHT TRAINING
Chopperline Flight Training offers students comprehensive theory education as well as flight training and testing at one convenient location.
The major advantage of this is that every instructor is aware of each student’s overall progress and special requirements throughout the course, from theory to flight line. This assures students of the best possible continuity in training.
The school has air-conditioned training facilities, including classrooms, briefing areas, crew and kitchen facilities and administration areas.
COMPREHENSIVE THEORY COURSES
Four full-time commercial pilot theory courses are conducted during the year. Our Theory School is recognised as one of the best in Australia and we have consistently achieved excellent pass rates. We liaise closely with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority to ensure that all aspects of the training syllabus are covered without compromise.
Important:- The theory side of obtaining a CPL is very important and one that we take very seriously. Our theory courses have been carefully designed to take students with no previous aviation experience, from the basics through to Commercial Pilot examination standard. We are well aware that most of our students commencing theory courses have been away from school and study for many years. With this in mind, our courses are comprehensively designed with a practical approach, which is supported by the use of detailed study workbooks for each subject.
There is no "easy" way to study the flight theory subjects. We do not encourage home study or correspondence courses as we find these methods are incomplete and can take excessive time, often resulting in frustration and disappointment.
Completed Theory School courses represent excellent value in the long term. Good understanding of flight theory will help make you a better pilot while minimising expensive delays and repetition in your flying training program.
If you undertake full time theory study with us, students can elect to re-sit the theory school within a 3 year window from the initial course date. This is subject to availability of seating.
